Salvos Funerals offers a range of affordable options to suit your budget and needs. There are different types of arrangements you can choose from.
We have various options for:
- Funerals (burial or cremation) – with the coffin present at a cemetery chapel, church, reception venue or other location
- Basic funeral and cremation – available in Smeaton Grange (next to Narellan). It is for up to 10-12 people only.
- Direct Cremations – with no funeral service (viewing & witness cremation options available)
- Personalised funeral – simple service or something more unique. It might take place in a church, chapel or other location and couple be followed by either a burial or cremation.
- Prepaid Services (with the option to pay over a three-year period)

NB. *Minimum of 1-3 people required from family/friends*$260.00 Additional Notes Choosing A Cemetery: When finding a cemetery, families tend to choose one that is close to where they live.
Council-owned cemeteries and cemeteries outside of Sydney tend to be the least expensive option.Payment of cemetery fees: Interment / grave-digging and burial plot are payable to the cemetery directly by the family. Service within a church premises: If a funeral takes place in a church building, a donation to the church may be requested for use of the premises.
This is in addition to the donation for the person officiating.Above-ground burial fees: When interment is in a family crypt or mausoleum, there are specific additional fees that apply. Whilst a Richmond coffin can be used, a solid hardwood timber coffin such as a Sienna coffin is recommended for a greater assurance of longevity - see our coffin and casket catalogue here. Cemetery fees vary significantly.
